Anya funnies

Anya has said some super funny things lately and I feel I need to document them.

Today: She came downstairs in her favorite outfit and said,"People will say,"Leah Lonegan's daughter looks so fashionable."
I laughed so hard. She thinks that everyone knows me. I have a picture I'll have to upload a little later.

Yesterday: We were in the truck and Anya started talking about the vehicle she wants to have someday.
Pink mustang, with pink headlights, pink hat, gloves, jacket, pants and shoes. And Pink Floyd. Yes, she knows that is music. Her Father and Grandpa must be so proud!

A little background: When headed up a state road into a neighboring town there is a house with a 15 foot statue of something. It is like a bull, in a toga type outfit holding a snake and it has glowing red eyes.

Ed and I were talking about the "creature" and Anya pipes in from the backseat." I knew it, I knew there were monsters in this city!"

Those are the latest laughing moments.

Goals and such

This year I made a goal to increase the intensity and frequency of my workouts. We went and purchased the EA active "game" for the Wii. It is awesome and would recommend it to anyone!

I decided that this wasn't enough. A friend of mine just started running and runs at about my pace ( a jog). We have ran together once and are trying to do it more frequently. It is the first time I have run outside in the winter. I am pretty proud of myself. The 1st time we went 2.3 miles. I was a little sore the next day but not too bad. I an hoping that I will learn to enjoy running.

Worst part: The wind, and the ice. We had to do a lot of running in the middle of the road.
Best part: The smell, I love the smell of outside. The confidence that it gave me that I can do it without dying!

New project

Made this for a friend's birthday. I will make one for Anya one of these days.

traffic jam

A little creativity and some time left alone and this is what you get.

Christmas at last!

I wish you could've heard. It was awesome!

Let it snow!!!

Our 1st snow storm this winter
We got almost 3 feet!

And then there were 2

Anya has had blanket since she was 6 months old. It has recently ripped in two.

Here is their version of the Christmas story!

Here comes Santa Claus

And there goes Kevin!

Little Helper

I guess this is what happens when you ask you kids to help you clean.

I don't think this counts but the thought was nice, he also conveniently used his sisters, not his!
